A number of aspirants and voters in Kitutu Chache South are in a panic after a number of KIEMs kit failed.
According to one of the aspirants under the party of Ford Kenya Richard Onyonka, they fear some of their supporters will not be able to vote as they have limited time.
Speaking after casting his vote at Soko primary school Onyonka said that they expect IEBC to solve the issue before it's too late.
"The IEBC has failed us by the time I was voting most of the kits were not functioning," said Onyonka.
Another aspirant under the party of KNC Justus Mochoge said a majority of his supporters arrived at Nyakoe primary school but they failed to vote as IEBC was still working on the kits.
"In Nyakoe primary where I vote the IEBC is still fixing the kits and we expect a positive response," said Mochoge.
IEBC is yet responded to the allegations as some of the officials interviewed said they weren't authorised to address the press.
