The embattled Kenya National Union of Nurses (KNUN) national chairman John Bii is now accusing the Secretary-General Seth Panyako of misuse of the unions' funds.
Bii claims Panyako sold the unions, Van, Toyota Noah registration number KBV 269N in January this year through his second wife.
Addressing a media briefing in Eldoret town on Thursday, the KNUN chairman claimed Panyako sod the vehicle without following set down guidelines as per the unions' constitution.
"Panyako must explain to us why and who allowed him to sell the union's property," noted Bii.
He also accused Panyako of misusing union funds during last year's general elections when he was vying for the Kakamega Senatorial seat.
"He used the unions' Prado and funds to print his campaign materials like t-shirts and posters," added Bii who was in the company of the Uasin Gishu KNUN chairman Simon Kibii.
He further insisted that he is the duly elected Nurses union national chairman and dismissed reports that he had been replaced.
"I want to assure the Kenyan people that news going around that Bii is no longer the KNUN chair are untrue. Those are propaganda since there is a pending court case," he added.
