Adow Elmi, who is the father of a form 2 student at Molo Academy, sued the school where he is seeking redress over what he termed as wrongful expulsion of his son from the school.

Elmi told the court that his son was never given a fair hearing and that there was more to the expulsion than just the mere sodomy allegations.

"All the other students were recalled back after their submission were heard, but I got no information over my son’s situation and his Islamic faith could have been the cause," Elmi told Nakuru High Court Judge Lady Justice Janet Mulwa.

Elmi went further and blamed the institution of subjecting his son to psychological torture, to an extent that the son at one time even attempted to commit suicide.

He further told the court that while the school gave him a transfer letter for his son, the principal refused to release his clearance certificate.

The case was adjourned to February 2, 2015 pending further hearing.
