Parents in Kisii have been called upon to ensure they give proper guidance to their children while in school and out of school to raise responsible citizens .
Reacting to recent deaths of young university students over love triangles, Kereri Girls High School principal Esther Ong’ondi said that the deaths are so hurting and that shows that most of the children are not brought up to face the reality of life.
“All students whether in campus, secondary school or primary should be guided and taught how to react to various situations in life,” she added.
This comes barely a day after a fourth-year male student at Moi University, Eldoret town campus was stabbed to death by a first-year colleague in what is believed to be a love affair gone sour.
Reports indicate that the first year student went to visit his girlfriend in her hostel room in Pioneer hostels within Eldoret town where he found the fourth year student sitting on the girl’s bed.
