Parents are now having it rough on their side as students get back to their various learning institutions as for the second term.
Many of the parents, guardians were seen at various shopping malls busy purchasing books, uniform as others were spotted in various financial institutions as banks, queing to pay their children’s school fees.
The major trouble the parents are facing is the school fees payments which is hard for most them.
We spoke to Mary Nyamoita, a parent who has two students in one of the national schools in Kisii county and both students are required to pay Sh56,000 per year which she said take much efforts to raise but she believes she will be relived after her two daughters have done their form four exams.
"I believe it will be all okay after the students have done the national examinations, because it will be a relief," she said.
Most parents are busy for the rest of this week and next week to make sure their children report to school.
