Mary Wangui, a parent said the school was performing badly in the national examinations due to the high turnover of the school principals.

“Every year, this school gets a new principal. When will a principal ever get ample time to implement his or her strategy of the school before she is abruptly transferred,” asked Wangui.

The parents accused the board of management (BOM) anchored in the Presbyterian Church of high headedness in the running of the school.

Another parent, Wilson Karanja asked the church to run the school in a better and professional manner or appoint other members of the BOM who would see the performance in the school improve.

Last term, area MP John Kiragu and Education officer in charge of Limuru Claris Mwita held a crisis meeting at the school to discuss its performance and high turnover of school heads.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Presbyterian Church, parents, representatives of KNUT, KUPPET, education officers.

After that meeting, the parents never expected the current principal to be changed, and when he was, they took to the streets in form of a demonstration.
