Parents Teachers Association has called upon Acting Cabinet Secretary for Education Fred Matiang'i to allow more time for schools to source funds to be able to fulfill the directive of painting school buses yellow colour.
The CS directed that all school buses must be painted yellow by March 30, 2018.
Chairman PTA Embu County John Njiru Kathangu said that schools had already passed their budgets last year and what is being implemented in schools was agreed upon by teachers and parents.
Kathangu adds that the only way to implement the directive was by school administration summoning parents into schools and craft new budgets which will be the source of the funds to implement the directive.
He said that he directs will not be possible this term until new budgets were passed and agreed on by parents and teachers which will be probably next term.
