Parents of a private school on Nakuru ,Manyani estate have vowed to disrupt school operation next month if the schoolmanagement will not improve on its management.
They said school management of Rising star academy have failed in running institution,they said the school sanitation is in pathetic state . They lamented that school pit latrines aredangerous to pupils and their teachers ,they that the latrines floors have cracks and they are full hence becoming dangerous to human being to use them. Jonson Wanga apapparent to the school widowed how the school can operate together with a posho mill that make a lotof nnoise.
"How can be aposh mill be on the first door and the second door is a posho mill"saidWanga He said the posho Mill share the roof withaa class room therefore disrupting class lessons . Allan Wadike also a parent said nowhere on earth can a school and aposho Mill run together,she lamented that the ministry of education should visit the school and see whether the school is qualified or not.
She said the school compound have been converted to a shopping center ,she said they will demonstrate to county education office if their grievances would not be fulfilled by the end of January. However the school headteachet Mary Nyokabi said the school management is fighting to remove the posho mill in the school compound before school open in January next year.
She urged parents to be patient as they fight for their grievances,she said that the school has already contracted the latrine projects and soon the school will have new latrines and toilets"We are fighting to remove the machine at school compoundat the same time wwe are working on latrines " said Nyokabi.
