The parents stormed the school compound, picked their children alleging bad leadership.

The furious parents took these actions after seeking to hold meetings with the school head teacher in vain.

Speaking during the event outside the school premises the Chairman of the School Committee James Wambua blamed the head teacher for his own woes.

“The head teacher comes to school twice a week which makes it hard for the parents to consult with him. There are several school projects that were funded by CDF for instance roofing of the School, whereby a shoddy work was done and students learn where hanging iron sheets are, which is dangerous,” said Wambua.

Job Kisoi, one of the parents, complained that the head teacher had over-stayed in the same school with no improvements in both academics and developments and hence they wanted him to be transferred.

“He has been in this school for 14 years and for that period no KCPE student has ever been admitted to a National or even provincial level  schools. We have frequently collected funds for developments in the school but even after months no sign of the upcoming projects,” said Kisoi.

The area Education officer assured the parents that on Monday he would ensure that officers from the education sector will arrive in the school to investigate and confirm if the complaints are legitimate.
