Celebrated gospel musician Gloria Muliro has urged parents to help nurture their children's talents.
She said most youths are unemployed because parents forced them to concentrate on class work.
"If parents can support their children's their talents cases of unemployment will be a thing of the past. Modern society has stagnated development wise because a majority of parents and caregivers are forcing their children to remain in class," he said in Eldoret town, Thursday.
"I support education but I would like to urge youths to use their talents since at the moment talent is well-paying and people are living decent lives. Parents let us support our children and you won't regret," she added.
She urged youths not to engage themselves in premarital sex and also the use of drugs since it has more harm than good.
"I advise youths to have good company, believe in God and all will be well," noted Gloria.
