The Supreme Court ruling on Friday dealt a blow to many students in primary, secondary and higher institution of learning.Most of the academic calendars in the institutions of learning are likely to be affected due to the campaigns that are going to follow.Speaking to journalists in Kisumu on Friday evening Millicent Awino, a parent expressed her worries on how the campaigns are going to affect students and pupils who are preparing for KCSE and KCPE exams respectively."I am very worried with the supreme court ruling since it is going to affect our children who are preparing to seat for their final exams come November, the campaigns and the elections are going to act a major destructor to our children hence poor performance."The Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) exam timetable shows that Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) examinations will last three days, starting October 31 to November 2.The KCSE exams are planned to kickoff on November 6, affecting more than 615,773 KCSE candidates.
