A parliamentary aspirant for Ruaraka Constituency, Jim Ayungo, has been charged with hate speech after threatening to lead chaos if next year’s elections should former Prime Minister Raila Odinga lose the Presidential election next year.
Ayungo who is a former Youth Enterprise Fund director was arraigned at the Milimani Law Court where he denied the charges.
He appeared before Milimani Law Court Principal Magistrate Benson Makio who granted him a cash bail of SH 100, 000.
He is now required to present himself to the CID headquarters where is required to do so until the investigations are complete.
