Socialite and party girl Vanessa Cheruto has hit the headlines once again after she was arrested at her house on Tuesday.

The socialite who has starred in Nairobi Dairies was arrested for allegedly  assaulting her fellow actress and controversial rapper Prezzo’s girlfriend, Michelle Oyola. 

Dagoretti OCPD Hubale Rashid confirmed the arrest. Cheruto spent her night at Muthangari police Station. On Wednesday, she was released on a cash bail of Sh4000. Her case is set to be heard on Friday.

The actress has claimed that the complainant provoked her by not only insulting her but also throwing objects at her repeatedly when she realized that the insults were not making her to react.
