Nairobi Women Representative Esther Passaris has hit out at a top lawyer after he called Raila a perennial elections loser.
Passaris who was responding to a tweet by Ahmednasir Abdullahi on Wednesday said that Raila's role in the democratization of Kenya is clear in every Kenyan's mind and the country is currently enjoying the fruits of his reformist efforts.
"I believe Raila is agitating for is; election reforms and laws that streamline voting/tallying and transmission of results, minimum facilitative reforms for free, fair and credible elections, an end to a 'winner takes it all' systems and National cohesion," the prominent businesswoman said.
She said the fact that Ahmednasir does not recognize what Raila has done for Kenya does not mean all Kenyans do not feel what he has done in improving the lives of Kenyans by championing the war on corruption.
Ahmednasir had earlier on said: "On the raging debate on Constitutional reforms I am 100 percent with deputy president William Ruto. We can't agitate 24-hours non-stop for Constitutional reforms simply to improve the future political fortunes of individuals who have perennially failed to win the popular mandate."
Ruto who Ahmednasir supports does not support Raila's proposal that the 2010 Constitution be amended in any way. Ruto says this is not the right time for Kenyans to go for a referendum.
