Nairobi County governor aspirant,  Esther Passaris has moved to court to seek clarification as to why registrar of political parties has declined to registrar her political party, Harambee Democratic Party (HDP).

Passaris who announced to vie for Nairobi's top seat using own party could be seeking justice to register her party to use in the 2017 governorship race in Nairobi County. 

The registrar of political parties is said to have declined to register the party since the party's name has the word Harambee that has been used to signify other things.
