Nairobi Women Rep. Esther Passaris has asked Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho be a unifying factor in the country after the High Court upheld his August 8, 2017 victory.

In her ruling, Lady Justice Lydia Achode said that the petitioner,former Senator Hassan Omar, had failed to prove that the election was marred by irregularities.In her message of goodwill to her deputy party boss, Passaris said that the country was looking forward to his leadership to bring about unity." Made it to Mombasa this afternoon in time to witness Hon. Lady Justice Achode uphold H.E @HassanAliJoho's election victory. Governor, your county and the rest of the country now looks forward to your leadership in uniting us into #OneKenya #LeaveNoOneBehind," she said in a post on her Twitter handle.

The Nairobi County MP is among a host of other ODM politicians who made it to the Court to stand in solidarity with Joho.

Others include NASA CEO Norman Magaya, Lawyer Edwin Sifuna, Likoni MP Mishi Mboko and her Kisauni counterpart Ali Mbogo.
