Nairobi County Woman Representative Esther Passaris has urged Kenyans to remember IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati 'so that he does not declare results for another sham election'.

Speaking during a breakfast show on Sunday, the ODM MP said Chebukati is under massive pressure to declare results for the October 26 repeat election.

"My urge to Kenyans on this Sunday is to kindly remember Chebukati in your prayers. He is under massive pressure from forces that want him to declare them as winners in an evidently sham election," she said.

It is now three days since a section of Kenyans went to the polls to elect a new president following the nullification of the August 8 polls by the Supreme Court and the IEBC is yet to declare the winner.

Constitutionally the poll agency is granted seven days from the day of voting to declare the winner.
