Nairobi Women Representative Esther Passaris has rubbished claims that she is warming up to Jubilee and might soon abandon the National Super Alliance (NASA).Passaris who trounced her predecessor Rachel Shebesh in the recently concluded general election, said she is in opposition to stay.She blamed her critics for plotting to tarnish her name and create enmity between her and her colleagues in the opposition.The ODM politician said she has no plans or thoughts of ditching the opposition in favour of President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Jubilee Party.Passaris stated that her heart is purely in opposition, adding that Uhuru’s party has allegedly neglected and failed to unite the country.“I want to ask my supporters to ignore social media rumors and assure them that I am in ODM and NASA to stay,” said Passaris, as quoted by Tuko.co.ke.This comes after Passaris on Monday condemned Embakasi East MP Babu Owino for insulting President Uhuru Kenyatta.In a post on her Facebook page, Passaris termed Owino’s remarks as unfortunate and disrespectful.“I condemn the utterances made by my fellow colleague Babu Owino during our campaign rallies in Dagorreti and Westlands and also sincerely apologize to the former first lady, Her excellency Mama Ngina Kenyatta and her family over the insult and disrespect meted on her, “ read Passaris’ Facebook post.On Wednesday, Passaris was heckled by a section of Babu Owino's supporters at the Milimani Law Courts.The supporters accused Passaris of being a traitor and asked her to apologize for attacking their MP.
