Nairobi Women Representative Esther Passaris has fired shots at the state over its continued crackdown on opposition leaders.

She said that the crackdown was a violation of the will of the people, saying that the National Resistance Movement (NRM) is a peaceful movement, warning that the crackdown would only harden their resolve to remove the Jubilee administration from power.

She reiterated NASA's position that Raila Odinga was the 'People's President''.

''NRM is a peaceful movement. We are not violent. We will remove you from office and bring electoral justice to Kenya if you are not going to respect the will of the people and the people's president,'' a charged Esther Passaris said.

The Women Representative was in the company of other NASA leaders who attended a rally at Baba Dogo in Nairobi today.
