A Nakuru pastor was on Friday arraigned in court and charged of exposing children to pornographic films.

The accused, Thomas Musabire appearing before Resident Magistrate Wilson Kitur pleaded not guilty to 20 counts of defilement, promoting child pornography and child prostitution.

According to KNA, the court heard that on diverse dates in March this year, in his house within railways quarters in Nakuru, showed sexually explicit materials to minors and later asked them to re-enact whatever they watched on a mentally-challenged woman.

He was also accused of molesting two girls and at least 18 boys in his house, and later threatened them with dire consequences if they disclosed the acts to anyone.

 The prosecution opposed bail application and ruled that the accused be remanded at Central police station to allow completion of investigations.

 The mention of the case will be on May 24.
