A pastor shocked his church members following an incident where he was found in bed with one of the choir members.
The pastor identified as Lawrence Kiriago attached to Holy ministry church at Rwora, Bogusero in Kisii County was found in bed having sex with Jane Omwenga.
It is alleged that the pastor summoned the woman to his room while other members were in the church hall training on Tuesday evening.
“Jane was called by the pastor to his room. We didn’t know that the two have been having an affair. It was a shameful incident and the pastor must be transferred from the church or be sacked because Jane is someone’s wife,” said Florence Mokandu, a witness.
Innocent Mokua, the church chairman confirmed the incident and said the pastor has already been ordered to pack and leave the church premises.
Mokua said the youthful pastor has been bringing young girls who stay with him through out the night.
Area assistant chief Simon Mbwayo said the pastor had been given exactly 24 hours to vacate the church.
"Married women should also respect their relationships and stop falling for rogue men," he said.
