A pastor was on Sunday afternoon beaten after one of the church members beat him up on grounds that he was spoiling his marriage.
The man who was identified as Ogari had fallen in love with a lady in the church and they were planning to marry.
However, instead of the pastor guiding them spiritually he decided to start sweet talking the lady and even slept with her severally.
Asked about the issue, the girl said that the pastor told her that he had realised that the man was not the best for her.
"The pastor told me that the holy spirit had guided him and showed him that Ogari could not make a good husband," he said.
She maintained that she was no longer interested in dating the man again.
This made Ogari so angry that he went straight to the church and fought the pastor.
