Duale said leaders from pastoral communities will strategize to ensure Ruto succeeds president Uhuru Kenyatta, who will be completing his second and last term in 2022
“Ruto comes from a pastoralist community, therefore, as pastoralists, we will ensure Ruto succeeds President Uhuru Kenyatta after he completes his last term in office,” said the lawmaker.
He called on leaders from pastoral communities to ensure they are full beneficiaries in the Jubilee government.
Duale added that since the Jubilee government assumed office in 2013, several projects such as the construction of roads have been initiated in the pastoral community counties.
"We are not regretting supporting Jubilee government because we have benefited and still we will benefit more," he stated
