The number of people who have died following the Patel Dam tragedy has risen to 44.
The search for more bodies is ongoing.
According to rescuers, those who were killed are 24 adults and 20 children.
The Patel Dam tragedy has increased the number of people who have died due to the ongoing heavy rains across the country to over 160 people.
Kenya Red has also indicated that 39 people are still receiving treatment after they were injured in the tragedy that left over 300 families homeless.
The people who were rescued are admitted at the Bahati sub-county hospital and Nakuru PGH Hospital.
Interior CS Dr Fred Matiangi announced that the government will inspect all dams across the country to make sure the lives of people living near them are safe.
