Addressing the press in Nairobi Wednesday, the Belgian tactician called upon the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) to consider reinforcing the team's technical bench.

This, he said, will lead to the team recording good results in future matches, adding that it will as well aid the squad as it seeks to climb up the world chart.

''What we need now is technical reinforcement as the current one is a bit weak,'' he said.

''The team has to move forward and will, therefore, need the improvement to enhance professionalism and better results,'' added Put.

Kenya is currently ranked at position 105 globally.

Put who joined the Stars' camp in November last year has since helped the team clinch the 2017 CECAFA Senior Challenge championship hosted by the country in December.

The team, which is eyeing good results in the approaching 2019 African Cup of Nation (AFCON) matches, has since lined up two friendlies against Cameroon and either Mali, Nigeria or Burkina Faso in preparation.

Put had also taught 'The Scorpions' of Gambia, Burkina Faso, and Jordan in the past.

He also trained his country's Lokeren Sports Club between 2001 and 2003.
