The Kenya Union of Post Primary Education Teachers (Kuppet), has threatened to storm Knec offices if teachers are not paid.
Kuppet secretary general, Akello Misori called on their members to camp outside Knec offices across the country to pressure on the council to pay up.
“We call on Knec chairman, George Magoha to put his house in order and start performing his duties as expected,” he said.
“It is unfair that some teachers have been forced to borrow bank loans to pay school fees because of the negligence displayed by KNEC officials,” added Misori.
On the other hand, Wilson Sossion said they would give a directive on what should follow.
“It is unrealistic that teachers who supervised and marked the 2015 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (Kcpe) and Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (Kcse) exams have not been paid more than four months after the release of the results,” he said.
