National Super Alliance through its presidential candidate Raila Odinga has said their members will participate in peaceful demonstrations from next week until their demands are met.
In a press briefing this afternoon, Odinga said that the main aim of the planned demonstrations is to rise against what he referred to as a dictatorial leadership.
He further stated the coalition stand against the purported change of election laws by jubilee terming it as an injustice to the constitution of Kenya that was passed by the Kenyan citizen.
“We are telling our members throughout the country to get out and participate in these demonstrations from Monday next week,” said the leader.
He said the coalition has planned for two demonstrations per week until what they are agitating for has been implemented.
“We will be demonstrating on Mondays and Fridays until we make sure that all the reforms we are championing for have come to pass,” he posed.
He further decried the manner in which some NASA members of parliament are being harassed, detained and threatened.
