The matatu culture in Kenya is very unique. From pimped vehicles to state of the art music systems.
However, let us look at some of the peculiar behaviors of touts;
They will literally force you to get on the bus even when you are just walking around the stage and you have the no intention of boarding. Some will even grab your hand and start leading you to the car.Sometimes they even touch you inappropriately which is really disgusting.
They will always ask you to help them collect fare if you happen to sit in the first three seats just in from of them.This is something that really gets me mad.It is their job to collect the money and not yours.Am sure a lot of people can relate to that.
They have vulgar language.These are the one type of people who don't really care what they say to you when offering services to you.They get so abusive and irritating at times, for no particular reason or if you ask them for your change or maybe they do not alight you in the right place.Sometimes they even abuse you when you decide to board a matatu that is not theirs.
