Head of the Jubilee Party secretariat Raphael Tuju has claimed that malicious people are spreading propaganda to ruin his reputation.

This is after residents of Rarieda Constituency converged Village of Central Asembo Location on Thursday after they were allegedly deceived that Tuju had called for a public meeting in the region, a meeting that Tuju dismissed.

Tuju, however said that he was in Nairobi the all of Thursday and that there is no way he could have been in Rarieda

“I would have announced officially if I wanted to meet Rarieda residents,” said Tuju.

He also added that he cannot call for a meeting at a small church compound if he wanted to meet people because Rarieda Constituency has several big trading centers.
