Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant running on an independent party ticket Peter Kenneth has picked another running mate in his quest to take over the reigns at City Hall.
Kenneth who was fell during the April Jubilee nominations by Nairobi Senator Mike Mbuvi alias Sonko has now picked a former Kenyan football sensation as his running mate for the gubernatorial seat.
Early while camapign under the Jubilee party colours, the former Gatanga MP had picked Mrs Linnet Miheranne a former Kilimani ward councilor (MCA).
However, on Wednesday at the PK hub in Westlands, Kenneth picked Dan Shikanda a former football maestro who once turned out for Gor Mahia and AFC Leopards in his hey days.
Shikanda is not new to Nairobi politics in 2007 he contested the Madaraka parliamentary seat but lost to PNU's Dick Wathika.
In recent days Shikanda has been working for South Africa pay TV Supersport as a sports pundit.
