[Photo|Nasa coalition]Few hours after the Party of National Unity (PNU) leader Peter Munya declared his support for the National Super Alliance (Nasa), fresh details have unfolded.PNU chairman John Kamama has dismissed the former Meru governor's support for Nasa presidential candidate Raila Odinga and the entire coalition saying PNU firmly and solidly backs the re-election of President Uhuru Kenyatta as agreed by party delegates in May.He told Capital FM that persons who accompanied Munya to Nasa's Capitol Hill offices in Nairobi, were not members of the party.According to him, PNU Secretary General John Okemwa Anunda who flanked Munya, was stripped of his authority by the National Executive Council.Kamama cited a Kenya Gazette Notice where the Registrar of Political Parties recognised former President Mwai Kibaki as the PNU leader.Munya was received Nasa principals Raila Odinga, Kalonzo Musyoka, Musalia Mudavadi, governors Hassan Joho (Mombasa), Josphat Nanok (Turkana), Anyang' Nyong'o (Kisumu) among others, Monday afternoon.He affirmed that he would assist Nasa to bag Mt Kenya votes, during the second round of presidential election, which IEBC will hold, on October 17.
