Former Kisumu Governor Jack Ranguma, has received a boost, in his quest to oust his successor, Prof Anyang Nyong'o, through an election petition.This is after Kisumu High Court Judge, Justice David Majanja granted him the read-only-access to the information extracted from the Kenya Integrated Management Systems (KIEMS) kits used in the August 8th elections in the county.Majanja who started hearing the petition filed against Governor Nyong'o Tuesday October 17, also directed the parties in the petition, to avail themselves in the same court next week Tuesday, to find out if the petitioner was granted access to the KIEMS kit information.Addressing the press, Ranguma's lawyer, Richard Onsongo expressed optimism that his client would emerge victorious, and asked the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission to avail the required materials for his client, as directed by the court.
