Consumers will have to dig deeper into their pockets following the rise in prices of Kerosene, Diesel and Super Petrol.
The Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) on Sunday released the new fuel prices to be effective from Monday, 15th August 2016 to 14th September 2016.
“..the changes in the maximum allowed petroleum pump prices in Nairobi are as follows: Super Petrol increases by KShs 2.20 per litre, Diesel increases by KShs 1.27 per litre while Kerosene increases by KShs 1.03 per litre,” said ERC in a statement.
Vehicle owners in Nairobi will now pay Sh95.13 for one litre of Super Petrol and Sh84.51 for Diesel, while Kerosene users will pay Sh62.48 for one litre of the commodity.
In Mombasa, Super Petrol will sell at Sh91.72, Diesel at Sh81.12 while Kerosene will now cost Sh59.64 per litre.
