Concerns have continued to emerge from different quarters over the re-emergence of hate mongering by politicians.
As the country prepares for the next general elections, Naivasha victims of the 2007/08 post-election violence have now warned that the country could be headed to the same path.
The victims under the banner Peace Ambassador's Network, have now called on politicians to cease propagating hate speech.
They asked the court to ensure hate mongers are punished accordingly.
Esther Namulanda, a PEV victim, applauded the move to have a group of MPs under police custody saying it was a clear indication that Kenya was not ready for chaos.
She further said that the same purge should be extended to non-politicians who are also spreading hate.
The victims were speaking to the press after a meeting of more than 200 IDPs, many of who were victims of the infamous Kiambaa church at Kinamba village in Naivasha.
