Nakuru level Five hospital medical superintendent Dr Joseph Mburu has appealed for public support in his effort to transform the facility
The hospital chief argues that services deliver at the facility can only be improved and streamlined if the public rallies behind the management.
Dr Mburu said that the county’s largest referral facility is working on an extensive strategy aimed at bettering service delivery to patients.
He said that the hospital has already set up a public relations department which he says will handle all sort of complains from patients and members of the public.
He called on members of the public to speak up and raise any challenges experienced when seeking services at the facility.“I urge members of the public to help us in this transformation journey and let them come out and speak up because we are ready and willing to listen to their complains,” he said
He added “when people come out and raise this issues affecting them then we will be in a better position to address them”.
“At the causality and emergency we have already brought in trained and unqualified customer relationship officers to replace the security guards who were reportedly harassing people,” Mburu added.
