The Pharmaceutical Society of Kenya has given the government until January 3, to resolve the ongoing doctors’ strike or they stop supplying medicine to all hospitals.
Dr Paul Mwaniki, the Society’s president, said on Friday that they will stop supplying the products because there are no professionals to prescribe and administer medicine to patients.
Dr Mwaniki has called on President Uhuru Kenyatta to look into medics’ grievances to end the crisis in the health sector.
