Residents of Mwakiage and Mwamosega villages in Kitutu Central Ward on Thursday held demonstrations over poor roads in the area.

They said the county government has been ignoring their frequent pleas to have the roads rehabilitated.

The roads have been worsened by heavy rains pounding the area.
