Transport activities were on Wednesday morning paralysed on Jogoo Road, Nairobi, after pupils from St Anne’s Primary school blocked the road.

The pupils were demonstrating following the murder of their road safety volunteer, who helps them cross the busy road.

The road safety volunteer was knocked down by a matatu on Tuesday.
