[Photo: DPPS]Deputy President William Ruto was at the Safaricom Sports Stadium Kasarani, to cheer up team Kenya, Saturday.Accompanied by Sports and Culture Cabinet Secretary Hassan Wario, and several Jubilee Party MPs such as Kimani Ic'ungwa, and Senator Kipchumba Murkomen, Ruto was jubilated to see how Kenyan athletes were performing at the IAAF World Under-18 Championships.He hailed the Kenyan team for its talent, and was welcomed to give out medals, to the winners.The DP however met Opposition leader Raila Odinga at the stadium, who was also present to cheer up Kenya.The two political rivals engaged and had a chat, as good friends."The spirited performance by our athletes at the IAAF world under-18 Championships is a strong indicator of the pool of talent at the country's disposal and reinforces our expectation that we will continue to dominate the world.
