A rare incident in Kapkonga village, Keiyo South, Elgeyo Marakwet county has left the resident in shock after a live snake was discovered in the stomach of a dead cow.
According to an eyewitness Joseph Kimosop, the cow died on Wednesday morning under mysterious circumstances, and it was during the slaughter of the cow that a one-and-a-half meter long snake was discovered, surprisingly it was still alive.
The incident suddenly became the talk of the town, it is also interesting that the cow belonged to area chief Mr Jonah Tenai.
According to locals who talked to eDaily, the bizarre incident might have been a witchcraft attempt targeted at their chief Mr Tenai.
The snake was immediately killed.
