Nairobi City Should Probably be renamed Nairobi Ocean. It has been raining for 10 hours and now we have a new Pacific Ocean. I'm hosting a pool party tonight, Don't Miss😂😂🏃🏃#NairobiRains— JN SHINE (@jn_shine) March 15, 2018.

Dear Nairobians, to be on the safe side, don't use Uber today....Otherwise, you will pay more than the normal standards due to the flooding and blocked roads.. Get normal cabs and negotiate for a better offer. #NairobiRains pic.twitter.com/iPkGrS9ayh— #AfricaIntegration (@InsecurityKE) March 15, 2018.

Just woke up to find my car floating in my neighbor's yard. Took an Uber, we started floating on the road. Tried to walk, accidentally slipped into a ditch, I had to swim to work. I could have called in sick but my phone was carried away back home by water.#NairobiRains— Inspired by Jesus (@VictorMochere) March 15, 2018.

It hadn't rained for a long time. We prayed, we begged, & God hears the prayers of His children. It rained, it poured, it is flooding! We had a chance to take care of our drainage systems when it was dry, but were were busy politicking. See our lives!#KenyaRains #NairobiRains— Ruth Mutegi (@RuthMutegi) March 15, 2018.

@MigunaMiguna listed drainage as a priority in his manifesto but Nairobians decided, in their wisdom, to vote for a thug.Sasa kila mtu apambane na hali yake. #NairobiRains #NairobiFloods pic.twitter.com/8SCWnOdoSu— M@rcus (@Mako_8200) March 15, 2018.

As tax payers you are consumers right? So on this #ConsumerRightsDayKE all taxpayers should DEMAND a refund from gov for the pathetic infrastructure being highlighted by the floods from #NairobiRains— The Real Kakistocrat (@RealAfroTrump) March 15, 2018.
