Mombasa governor Ali Hassan Joho hosted two renown Kenyan footballers, who are playing for different football clubs, abroad.Joho hosted McDonald Mariga and his younger brother Victor Wanyama, who play for Latina Calcio FC and Tottenham Hotspur FC, respectively, over the weekend, in Mombasa.They were accompanied by their mother and siblings, who later enjoined dinner with the governor.They discussed a variety of issues, including the potential and growth of youth football in Mombasa. "These two Harambee Star players' life story of humble beginnings, persistence, discipline and hard work has inspired youth to strive for greater things," said Joho.He also heard from their mother, who shared an inspiration story about thelives of her two kids, and the rest, saying she sacrificed lot."May the Almighty continue to bless your path and may your gift continue to be a story of inspiration," Joho told the Wanyama's.Below are photos of the Joho and the Wanyama's, courtesy of Ali Hassan Joho.
