Kisumu governor elect Anyang’ Nyong’o paid a visit to victims of police brutality in Kisumu county.

Chaos erupted in the county on Friday, August, 11, 2017 moments after the presidential election results were announced in Nairobi.

Angry opposition supporters took to the streets to protest the results.

Reports indicate security officers deployed in the county used excessive force to contain the protesters.

According to Red Cross, at least 8 people have been killed in Kisumu following the police brutality while several others suffered injuries.
