President Uhuru Kenyatta arrived in Italy for G7 Summit, Friday, alongside First Lady Margaret Kenyatta.He was scheduled to showcase Kenya’s achievements at the Summit, as well as meet leaders of the world’s most industrialised countries.G7 leaders are Prime Minister Justin Trudeau of Canada, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, British Prime Minister Theresa May, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, newly elected President Emmanuel Macron of France, US President Donald Trump and host Prime Minister Paolo Gentiloni.President Kenyatta flew to Sigonella Airbase in Sicily and then by helicopter to Taormina, a seaside resort heavily protected ahead of the summit.While in Taormina, Uhuru met Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump during the G7 State Concert.The four shook hands, and interacted.Below are photos, courtesy of PSCU.
