The National Super Alliance (Nasa) presidential candidate, Raila Odinga, has been cleared by the IEBC to vie for the presidency.
Odinga, together with his running mate Kalonzo Musyoka (Wiper), appeared before the electoral agency on Sunday at around noon for clearance.
He was accompanied by other Nasa principals, Musalia Mudavadi (Amani National Congress), Moses Wetangula (Ford Kenya) and Isaac Ruto (Chama Cha Mashinani) at the KICC, Nairobi.
Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero was also present.

"We want to thank the commission for clearing us...we will ensure we conduct a very peaceful campaign.." the Nasa candidate said.
Odinga said he will accept the presidential results if the election is conducted in a free and fair manner.

Odinga was unveiled as the Nasa flag bearer on April 27 after wide consultations.
The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader will be eyeing the presidency for the fourth time.
His main opponent in the race is President Uhuru Kenyatta of the Jubilee Party.
The President is expected to hand in his nomination papers to the IEBC on Monday, May 29.
Third Way Alliance Kenya presidential candidate, Ekuru Aukot, has also been cleared to vie for President.
