The Governor of Kiambu County, Ferdinand Waititu, on Sunday attended the Eucharistic Celebration at Christ the King Ngoliba Catholic Church.

The celebration was presided over by His Eminence John Cardinal Njue.

The faithfuls were also celebrating the official opening of the new Church that saw four couple's renew their marriage vows at the altar.

His Eminence Cardinal Njue asked the congregants to continue praying for cohesion and unity in the country.

Waititu was accompanied by MCA's Hon. Joachim Njama- Ngoliba ward, Hon. Joseph Kahura- Gatuanyaga ward, Hon. Raphael Chege- Kamenu Ward, Hon. Danson Mburu- Hospital ward among other leaders.
