Kiambu governor Ferdinand Waititu has pledged to renovate the proposed Mugumoi-ini ward office block and convert it into a health centre.The office block was build by the defunct Thika Municipal council.Speaking when he inspected the office block on Saturday, Waititu said the offices had never been used since they were build.Once complete, the health centre will serve residents of Biafra and Majengo estates."The rest of the land where the building is located will be converted into a recreation centre," Waititu said.The governor also met officials from Jamofasta who represent residents of Jamhuri, Ofafa and Starehe estates in Thika where they discussed issues touching on their welfare.Below are some photos of governor Waititu during the inspection and meeting with Kiambu officials:
