The body of pilot Apollo Malowa which was recovered on Monday from Lake Nakuru has been transferred to Nairobi.

Lead investigator Martin Luyan told journalists on Tuesday the body will undergo toxic investigations as investigators try to unravel the cause of the accident.

Also, of interest to investigators, is the choppers black box which records details.

The chopper crashed on Saturday morning minutes after it took off at the Jarika County lodge.Five people, including the pilot, were aboard.

Three bodies have since been recovered. Two were identified but one is badly mutilated and families will have to do a DNA test.
