Kenya Airline Pilots Association on Tuesday issued a seven-day strike notice over alleged mismanagement at the national carrier Kenya Airways.
Through secretary general Paul Gichinga, the pilots want senior management at KQ to leave office incompetence of the national carrier that has plunged into losses over the recent years.
He said CEO Mbuvi Ngunze and Chairman Dennis Owuori should leave office by Tuesday next week or they resort to mass action.
Gichinga claimed that the management lacks the ability to steer the carrier out of its current loss-making streak.
The strike notice was issued after another flight to Lusaka Zambia was cancel over what the airline termed as technical problems.
