Residents in Pipeline, Nairobi, have decried impassable roads this rainy season.
They called on the County government to maintain the roads to ease transportation.
"Kidero's government should do something to improve transportation within pipeline estate. We are forced to remain in our houses throughout the day due to the poor state of interior roads,'' said Brian Omar, a resident.
One, Amisi Paul noted that for the past four years, the interior roads have never been repaired.
"This is terrific. We have been suffering for along time. Nairobi County government should not sit and watch us suffering. During rains, motorists get stuck in mud as locals won't manage to get outside due to flooding rain waters that has caused the roads to be slippery hence impassable,'' added Veronica Korir.
